Frequently asked questions

How do I restore my purchases?

Open the Shop in Dam It and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with. The Whole River unlock, Double Sticks and costume packs are one-time purchases, so they come back on any iPhone Duo signed in to that account, for free.

Purchases are handled by Apple. If one still doesn't appear, you can check it or ask for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, or email us and we'll help.

Does Dam It work on iPhones other than iPhone Duo?

Not yet. Dam It is built for the folding iPhone Duo: the river flows across the fold, with the far stretch on the lid and your dam on the base, and closing the phone swims your beavers to the next world. On an iPhone without a hinge, the game shows a card explaining that it needs iPhone Duo.

We'd like to bring it to more iPhones and iPad later. If you'd like to hear when that happens, drop us a line.

How is my progress saved?

Automatically, on your iPhone. Your levels, stars, medals, sticks, settings and costumes are saved on the device only. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no account to sign in to.

That means progress doesn't move between devices by itself, and deleting the app deletes your progress. Your purchases are safe either way: restore them from the Shop. Game Center achievements and your Total Stars score stay with your Game Center account.

Are there lives, timers or ads?

No. Losing a level costs nothing, so you can try again straight away. There are no ads and no energy or timers, and World 1 is free.

Do I need Game Center?

No. Game Center is optional. If you're signed in, your achievements and Total Stars score go to Game Center; if not, the game plays exactly the same.
